About ACIS - All Children in School

We are a Muslim charity dedicated to improving the quality of both secular and Islamic Education for needy children including orphans – by making education accessible to every child regardless of their gender, background, disabilities, location areas, and religious beliefs in Conakry, Guinea, West Africa.

With our varied programs, we aim at assisting poor children by providing them with all the necessary resources they need to improve their standards of living, leave the cycle of poverty, and have a better future – through the power of Education!

Our Vision

At ACIS, our vision is to see a world where every child has the right to education and the opportunity to have a brighter future.

We believe that all children should have the opportunity to be in school. Every child matters.

Meet Our Founder

Fanta Kaba, the founder of ACIS – All Children in School is a believer that all children should have the opportunity to be in school. She had always had the idea of running her charity for years but she made the decision to start through an experience she had.

In 2016, Fanta visited her grandmother’s village in Mali Yembering – that was the first time she encountered poverty. She was born and raised in Africa, although she was ignorant of the levels of poverty. While she was there, she visited schools and she was shocked to see children and families that were so poor that their lives and futures had completely changed direction; due to a lack of basic needs that we take for granted such as food, clean water, pens, books, tables, and chairs. She decided that she wanted to help them.

After she came back to London, she was traumatized for two weeks. She was truly affected. She would usually buy her Taiwanese cold tea which costs £4.50 after work in Central London, but not anymore! She couldn’t stop thinking that money could help someone in a village.

Her wake-up call came in August 2017 when she managed a simulation project in her third year of her BSc in Business Management degree. As a group, they were required to build electronic dams in Central Laos, Asia on the Nam Kading River. That experience changed Fanta!

The shareholders and investors were involved in the project and all they strove for was maximum profit. No matter what they did as Project Managers, ultimately, the only things they were stressing about were profits by any means possible. It was then that she realized that she would not want to work for any organization that was solely focused on profit margins with a total disregard for people’s values, cultures, and future. This was when she made the decision to turn her idea into action.

What motivates Fanta and the team at ACIS?

We are passionate about our cause at ACIS. Fanta is a Muslim so she strongly believes that it is her duty to help humanity. We believe that Allah does not come personally to the earth to help people but He uses us as tools to help one another. We want to be the change maker and make a difference.

We believe that none of us deserve what we have, we have been blessed by the creator to have what we have. Those children and families in need did not choose to be in poor and disadvantaged areas.

Join us and let us share some of our blessings with those who have less – that is what ACIS has been doing.
