Clean Water Projects
Despite the fact that Guinea is one of the wettest countries in West Africa, many cities and villages are still affected by the inadequate supply of clean water. Water scarcity remains one of the leading causes of poverty and a threat to the communities’ health, well being and livelihood.
Unfortunately, millions of children continue to live without the simple necessities such as clean and safe water. ACIS has already identified many villages that are in desperate need of clean water and would like to transform their lives for a better future with your help and support. Together we can make these projects a reality by making clean water accessible to ALL, particularly children. Not only will clean water improve their health, it will also have a positive impact on their education, thus allowing them to function better in their daily lives.
Fighting poverty is difficult, if not impossible to achieve without making water accessible to all, especially reaching the poorer people in rural areas of Guinea. Access to clean water will dramatically improve agriculture and the nutrition of life stock which can aid in reducing poverty, as the community in these rural regions rely heavily on these activities to survive.
A community will remain deprived and poor, despite the greatest efforts, if changes are not made to facilitate free access to clean water. Solving the issue of clean water will make an enormous positive impact for children; more importantly, their mothers who will no longer walk miles to fetch tainted, undrinkable water which could potentially harm their children. Instead, their time can be used more effectively to pursue additional endeavours such as economic opportunities.
Kindly help us achieve this goal by donating generously to this noble cause.
